Dongping Completes Its First Used Car Export

A fleet of multiple heavy-duty semi-Trailer tractors, after meticulous inspection, repair, and renovation, was smoothly exported to Laos, marking a historic zero breakthrough in the international used car export sector for Dongping County. This achievement not only opens up new avenues for the county's economic growth but also showcases its potential to participate in the global automotive trade.​
The journey towards this breakthrough began in early 2025 when the Dongping County Bureau of Commerce, recognizing the potential of expanding the foreign trade market, took proactive steps. It actively established connections with the Tai'an City Bureau of Commerce, engaging in in-depth research and learning about the intricacies of the used car export business. Armed with this knowledge, the bureau launched an extensive publicity campaign in towns and streets across the county, raising awareness among local enterprises about the opportunities in international used car exports.​
Yinshan Town, in particular, played a pivotal role in seizing this opportunity. With foresight and strategic planning, the town's authorities capitalized on the national policy support for used car exports. They leveraged Yinshan's excellent logistics infrastructure, which includes well-connected highways, proximity to major ports, and efficient transportation networks, as well as the abundant used car resources available in neighboring areas such as Juye and Liangshan. The town's team worked tirelessly to collect relevant information, establish precise connections with potential partners, and provide comprehensive assistance to Dongping Hongsheng International Trade Co., Ltd. in its establishment. This support included guidance on business registration, compliance with international trade regulations, and market research to identify target markets. As a result, the company successfully ventured into international markets, including the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, becoming the first enterprise in Dongping County and the fourth in Tai'an City to complete the necessary used car filing and export procedures.​
To accelerate the enterprise's entry into the global market, the Dongping County Bureau of Commerce adopted a proactive and service-oriented approach. It immediately established close coordination with the Tai'an City Bureau of Commerce and Tai'an Customs, forming a collaborative team to address any challenges. The Tai'an City Bureau of Commerce provided timely and valuable business guidance, sharing insights on market trends, export procedures, and regulatory requirements. It also coordinated with the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce to facilitate the handling of various export-related formalities for the enterprise, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.​
Thanks to the concerted efforts of all involved departments, on June 7, the first batch of heavy-duty semi-trailer tractors from Hongsheng Company set sail for Laos. These tractors, despite being used, underwent rigorous quality checks to ensure they meet international safety and performance standards. The successful shipment not only demonstrates the capabilities of Dongping's enterprises in the international market but also reflects the new achievements made by Dongping County in promoting the export-oriented development of the automotive industry. It paves the way for more local enterprises to explore overseas markets and contributes to the county's economic diversification.
