Market Size to Grow by Another 22% in 2025, China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Drives New Demand

2025-10-31
-- Looking ahead to 2025, Kyrgyzstan's Trailer market will continue to maintain strong growth. According to industry forecasts, with the advancement of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway construction and the upgrading of the mining and agricultural industries, the market size is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate of 11.8%, increasing by another 22% compared to 2023. Among this, the proportion of specialized trailers will rise from the current 15% to 30%.
Three major growth opportunities are particularly clear: in the mining sector, the expansion of the Kumtor Gold Mine and the capacity increase of the Jermuk Iron Mine will create demand for 220 additional heavy-duty trailers; in cross-border logistics, container transportation supporting the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway will generate a gap of 140 medium-duty Container Trailers; in agriculture, the Kyrgyz government's plan to promote high-value fruit and vegetable exports will drive demand for more than 80 refrigerated light-duty trailers.
A relevant person in charge of Shodailer said: "We are deploying a service center in Issyk-Kul Oblast and simultaneously developing trailer models adapted to rail intermodal transportation." Industry experts pointed out that with the implementation of infrastructure projects such as the Issyk-Kul Ring Road under Kyrgyzstan's "2025 National Road Sector Development Strategy", the trailer market will usher in a new boom period, and brands with localized service capabilities will take the lead.
